Restaurants in Tower Grove

Pho Grand – In my humble opinion, this is the best Vietnamese restaurant in St. Louis. Pho Grand serves a wide variety of authentic Vietnamese cuisine that is insanely flavorful and that has won praise from the hearts and palates of St. Louis diners. You can’t go wrong with ordering one of their many Pho soups and if all else fails, just order the 15.03, trust me.

Mokabe’s Coffeehouse– This gay-owned and operated coffeehouse has been a mainstay in Tower Grove South for as long as I can remember. They offer many vegan and vegetarian options daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as Sunday brunch. If you enjoy bacon with your breakfast don’t worry, they’re not a meat-free establishment. This is a great place to grab a bite with friends or hunker down with the laptop and get some work down.

The Vine Mediterranean– On those nights when I want to eat something tasty without having to cook or work to hard to get it, you’ll find me at The Vine. They have all the staples you’d expect from a Mediterranean or Lebanese restaurant including falafel, tabouli, hummus, and the like. My go-to order is a chicken shawarma sandwich and a hummus deluxe.

Rooster – In all honesty, I don’t go to frequent Rooster very often but their Sunday brunch is unbelievably well attended and they have a large patio where you can enjoy your meal or maybe just a beer. It’s undoubtedly a popular destination and adored by many.

Civil Life – This craft brewery is not to be missed. Their enthusiasm for what they do is infections and you’d be hard-pressed to find a better brown ale anywhere. They have a killer patio and inside you’ll find a cozy german-pub vibe, games for entertainment, and probably a new friend. All of their beers are produced in Tower Grove South.
